To dream of a journey towards the North or of being in Northern places signifies an uphill struggle for you which will end in a great success.

A dream that calls attention to the northerly direction could be saying any number of different things.
The north is the direction of cold and frozen wastes. But it also attracts a compass needle, so it provides direction and guidance.
The North Pole is where Santa Claus lives, who annually showers the world with gifts.
The north in spiritual terms suggests the winter, a time for old age and reflection.
The archangel is normally uriel, administrator of peace, but sometimes ariel, keeper of wisdom.
Psychological / emotional perspective: We are looking towards night-time and rest and the right to use the wisdom we have accrued.
The magical element is earth and the color white. There is often the completion of a cycle associated with dreams of the north.
Material aspects: When we dream specifically of the north, we are searching for patience and understanding. We need firm foundations.

North, as one of the four directions, offers entry into the great mystery of the universe. It points to the void in which there is no time and no space.
It is the place of your vision and of illusion. Moving north is moving toward knowing universal truth.
It is the direction of wisdom and depth.
