To dream of explosions, portends that disapproving actions of those connected with you will cause you transient displeasure and loss, and that business will also displease you.
To think your face, or the face of others, is blackened or mutilated, signifies you will be accused of indiscretion which will be unjust, though circumstances may convict you.
To see the air filled with smoke and de’bris, denotes unusual dissatisfaction in business circles and much social antagonism.
To think you are enveloped in the flames, or are up in the air where you have been blown by an explosion, foretells that unworthy friends will infringe on your rights and will abuse your confidence. Young women should be careful of associates of the opposite sex after a dream of this character.
1- An explosion in a dream usually indicates a release of energy in a forceful way which will allow us to make changes in the way we express ourselves. Usually the emotion behind the explosion will be considered negative and we may have suppressed it for some time.
2- The forceful explosion of anger, fear or sexual release can accomplish a cleansing.
A dream may be a safe space in which to accomplish this.
3- An explosion in a spiritual sense would suggest a revelation of some sort.

If you dream of an explosion, a problem in real life can be solved if you can be honest with someone who’s disappointed or hurt you.
Emotional outburst, intense (inner) conflict. Repressed urges, as in Electricity, Attack, Surf, Abduction, Defloration* You really should allow yourself to “explode” now and then! It is important to look at what is exploding, and what form the explosion takes.

Seeing an explosion: your present restlessness is temporary. Seeing dead people after an explosion: escaping at the last moment from a dangerous situation, unscathed. To dream of witnessing a massive explosion indicates that your own life is going to “explode.” Great changes for the better are on the way.
A warning given in order to avert an “explosive” situation
The essence of an explosion is combustion, and combustion means change and transformation.
The distinction here is how fast change sometimes occurs, and in the case of an explosion, change is happening very rapidly. Remember that in a dream, an explosion is a positive thing and indicates that some transition in your life is happening abruptly and may be causing you fear. Change can be very frightening, and it is part of the human experience to fear change.
